My brother retired from the Army after a distinguished career. Our father fought in WWII, our grandfather in WWI, and many generations ago my family fought the British in the Revolutionary War. This video I produced for them, and for all those who have served. We owe them everything.
A father meets a phantom soldier on Christmas Eve. He’s reminded of our military history, and the founding of our country. He’s called to defend freedom at home. Six minute featurette based on Michael Marks’ poem. The poem was made popular by LCDR Jeff Giles, CS, USN, stationed in Al Taqqadum Iraq.
This video was created by Karl Munchausen, who has his own weblog — National Institute of Prevarication.
