Night vision gun camera video from an Apache helicopter shows a column of 14 Taliban fighters moving along a road in Afghanistan, carrying automatic rifles, rocket propelled grenades and a mortar.
On the audio track, you can hear the pilot requesting permission to fire six times, before being given the go-ahead, to make sure there are no collateral civilian casualties. The pilot is careful not to fire close to a “kalat” — the Afghan word for house.
